Description This 4-hour continuing education workshop addresses emerging ethical challenges psychologists face with artificial intelligence tools and human resources considerations in clinical training settings. Participants will explore the appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI technologies in psychological practice as well as in supervision, including chatbots, documentation assistance, and clinical decision support tools, while maintaining professional standards and client confidentiality. The workshop also covers essential HR-related issues such as accommodations for staff with disabilities, harassment prevention, and creating inclusive environments that support diversity. Objectives -Describe the ethical implications of AI integration into psychological supervision and practice, including potential risks, biases, and professional responsibility -Be able to identify how to support HR as a supervisor and practitioner, including ethical implications of decision making -Identify and evaluate ethical concerns related to AI use, including data privacy, competence, and appropriate boundaries. -Apply strategies to recognize and address HR-related issues—such as harassment, discrimination, burnout, and caregiver fatigue. -Demonstrate practices that integrate ethical standards with emerging workplace trends.
